Job Description

CEN Resources are working in partnership a very successful and growing engineering consultancy based in Glasgow. Due to growth and project awards, our client is now looking to hire a Process Engineer. Our client operates within various process industries such as Energy, Chemicals, Food & Beverage, and Life Sciences. Responsibilities

  • Process Engineers are responsible for supporting senior process engineers in all aspects of Process Design to deliver engineering solutions at Concept, FEED and detailed design project phases.
  • Production of technical and engineering reports.
  • Production of Process Engineering Drawings (PFDs, P&IDs)
  • Production of Process calculations (such as thermal loading/heat transfer/pump calcs) .
  • Preform site visits to complete site surveys, site meetings and other site related activities
  • Undertake process investigations and troubleshooting
  • Prepare process specifications and deliverables, mainly as listed below:
  1. Process Design basis
  2. Line list
  3. Equipment list
  4. Process data sheets for equipment
  5. Instrument data sheet
  6. Control philosophy
  7. Cause & effect sheets

 

Qualifications & Experience 

• Degree qualified 

• Familiarity with process design in a process plants environment

• Excellent written and oral skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
