Responsibilities

• Supporting Lead Process and Process Safety Engineers in all aspects of Process Design to deliver engineering solutions at Concept, FEED and detailed design project phases.
• Develop sizing calculations for Process equipment (Pumps, Heat Exchangers, distillation columns, compressors, separators, reactors etc.) and provide information in the form of equipment datasheet
• Preparing process equipment and instrument-related documents for project requirements

• Reviewing and checking of design documents/drawings prepared by the design team
• Keep up to date with new developments of standards, process software, procedures and implement them in the day to day work
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and chemical process simulators. Experience gained on production sites will be a plus.
• Perform site visits to complete site surveys, site meetings, and other site related activities
• Support project deliverables on process safety aspects including HAZID, HAZOP, DSEAR and HAC studies, with scribing and facilitation once qualified.
• Prepare process specifications, drawings, and process deliverables. Including but not limited to:-

3. Heat and mass heat balance
4. P&I diagrams

Qualifications & Desirable skills

CEN Resources are working in partnership with a well known business who are currently looking for an experienced Senior Quality Manager for operations based in the North West of England. Our client are an Engineering and Projects Delivery business specialising in the design, installation, management and consultancy of bulk material handling systems across a number of sectors, with specific expertise in tunnelling, aggregates and ports. 

Reporting to the Group Projects Director, the Senior Quality Manager ensures all operational departments adhere to company systems, policies and procedures and that the business remains compliant with accredited ISO standards and any other industry-relevant accreditations on an on-going basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide input and support of proposals during the bid and pre-contract stage
• Review quality/process requirements pre-contract to ensure any specific quality-related deliverables
• Support the development of existing – and introduction of new – suppliers through auditing, accurately recording and reporting NCRs, tracking total cost of quality and continuous improvement activities
• Collaborate with and support Project Managers with project kick-off meetings, and ongoing project progress meetings as required, either internal or external.

Education/Experience

• Demonstrable experience of managing internal quality systems for medium to large organisations with cloud-based systems.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
• Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Due business growth and and incoming projects, our client is looking to recruit a Senior OHL Designer Engineer for UK operations. With our client having various offices across the UK, they are happy for the successful individual to be based in any UK location within a hybrid capacity. 

The candidate should have experience in the production of all designs, calculations, reports & drawings associated with the new build or refurbishment of overhead line projects from 11kV – 400kV. You will also have experience in design of OHL with PLS-CADD and PLS-Tower.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed OHL design packages, compliant to required client and national technical standards.

Once settled in, this role only requires the relevant person to be in the office once a week with the rest of time being spent working from home.

We are looking for an experienced Piping Team Leader to take responsibility for technically directing the piping team to produce piping deliverables in accordance with industry standards, codes and client specifications, within the project schedule and budget.

In addition to the technical lead role they will also be involved in the development and growth of the process piping team, provide input in bids & tenders, managing sub-contractors and developing processes and systems relating to this new capability.
